CTBC provides high quality, reasonably priced management consulting services to small and medium sized businesses in Central Texas.Over the past ten years, the executive team at CTBC has created and used a formal Quantitative Operational Risk Analysis methodology to quickly and efficiently identify areas in a company that are not operating at maximum efficiency.
Our approach is similar to the audit department functions of large corporations with several notable differences.First, the focus of Quantitative Operational Risk Analysis is on identifying process, procedures and operations that are specifically affecting the profitability and the cash conversion cycle of your company.Second, our Quantitative Operational Risk Analysis methodology prioritizes departments that are having the most negative effects on your business's profitability and cash flow.Third, all of CTBC’s recommendations are made considering the resources your business has to create and/or amend processes, implement the new processes and measure the results.CTBC will only make recommendations that can be implemented and will positively affect your bottom line.
CTBC has established the following process to determine if we can be of assistance to you.
Step 1:Schedule an appointment, usually 2 hours long, with CTBC to come into your office to conduct a No Cost / Non Binding Interview. The purpose of the interview meeting is to discuss the areas of your business that concern you and determine the expected objectives and deliverables from CTBC.
Step 2:Based on the objectives and concerns identified in Step 1, CTBC will perform an Operational Risk Analysis of your business. The Operational Risk Analysis is a formal Quantitative analysis of each functional area of your business to determine the areas, departments, practices and procedures that can be improved to maximize cash flow and profitability.
Departments included in CTBC’s Operational Risk Analysis are; Accounting, Financial Planning, Cash Management, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Purchasing, Inventory Management and Control, Quality Control, Logistics, Customer Service, Information Systems, Production / Service Operations, Product Design and Business Administration. The work processes of each area / department are reviewed and scored to quantify the levels of operational risk. The higher the levels of Operational Risk the higher the chances for not maximizing potential profitability. The Operational Risk Analysis takes between 1 and 5 working days and is a function of the number of areas being reviewed.
The preliminary Operational Risk Analysis is conducted at No Cost to your business and is Non Binding.
Step 3:Based on the results of the Operational Risk Analysis CTBC will present you with a formal Consulting Proposal that will focus on the specific area(s) of your business where CTBC can assist your company to maximize profitability and improve cash flows. The Consulting Proposal will outline specific CTBC deliverables, Defined Time Line(s) and the Cost of CTBC’s consulting services.
Should you choose not to accept CTBC’s Consulting Proposal you will be given the opportunity to purchase the Operational Risk Analysis that CTBC completed in Step 2.
Step 4:When you accept CTBC’s Consulting Proposal CTBC will work closely with you, your management team and employees to develop specific implementable actions, that are within your company’s span of control to improve cash flow and maximize profitability. All recommendations and action plans will be presented to you for approval. Each recommendation and action plan will list the desired outcomes, a defined time line, name the person(s) responsible for implementation and will have metrics so you can measure progress and the effect on your business.
CTBC is committed to providing consulting services that will truly affect your bottom line.If the results of the Operational Risk Analysis indicate that CTBC will not be able to significantly improve your cash flow and/or profitability or will not meet your desired goals CTBC will not present you with a Consulting Proposal.
